Kicking off the new school year and the football season, Homecoming offers events such as a parade, tailgating and an exciting football game where students can make new friends and celebrate the upcoming year.

Minerpalooza

Minerpalooza is the largest pep rally at UTEP and consistently voted “Best Annual Event” by El Paso Magazine. Admission is free and open to the public. Don’t miss out on this annual tradition!

TCM Day
TCM Day

The College of Engineering pays annual homage to Saint Patrick, patron saint of engineers. Students majoring in mining or engineering engage in a variety of tasks throughout the day such as painting green lines and whitewashing the M, perpetuating the oldest continuous tradition at UTEP.

New Miner Convocation
New Miner Convocation

New Miner Convocation is a formal welcome to all new undergraduate and graduate UTEP students. This event signals the beginning of every student’s experience at UTEP by initiating a connection between new Miners, their families and the university.
